The way that you look and feel is a reflection of your lifestyle and habits. A majority of your lifestyle is made up of a variety of habits. More than 40% of all your actions daily are the product of a habit. Some of those habits are great for your health, but some can be very counterproductive to good health. To look and feel better you need to focus on changing those habits that got you where you are today. In other words, if you want to lose weight and your habits involve watching a lot of TV and eating fast food, you’re going to have to change those habits. Once you replace those habits with healthier options, like going for a walk every evening instead of watching TV the entire time and preparing all of your food at home, the reflection of your lifestyle will be a slimmer, more energetic and happier you.

The keys to changing a habit are: · Commitment: Identify 1 habit at a time and make a decision to change it.

·Plan: Identify things that trigger your habit and create strategies to overcome.

·Discipline: Stay focused by asking for support and creating accountability.

·Consistency: It will take time to change a habit so keep working at it!

You will find that the hardest habits to break are the ones you’ve had around the longest. But then again, that’s why you are at where you are today. Change a bad habit and change your life! It will take extra energy and it won’t be easy, but it will be worth it!
